Attached is the speaking order for the Civil War Presentations. You and your partner will present in the order on the PDF. Please email me your presentation (if you have one) on the day you present or let me know if you need a USB drive for your project. I am hoping to get through at least 6 groups per day...hopefully more! If your partner is absent the day of your presentation you will present without them and they will have to find time to present at another date. I will have the partner evaluation forms attached as well. Email it to me after your presentation.

M: PJ Day T: Patriotic Day W: Hawaiian Day TH: Neon Day F: Spirit Day Remember to wear school appropriate clothes under your Hawaiian gear! It has recently come to my attention that most of my students struggle when it comes to studying for tests. Most of them have said they "don't know how to study." Here are some tips to doing well in my class and when they go to college!
Tips:
Where has the time gone?! Hard to believe that four weeks of school are done. My seniors have been busy learning all about the Constitution. They have been tasked with learning all 7 Articles and 23 Amendments. They then need to find a court case that violates those amendments. They will be presenting these next week. I look forward to seeing what cases they have found and what they have learned.
The Sophomores begin their Religion Project next week. They will be taking the 5 major religions and presenting about them later on. What I hope they gain from this is that while all religions are different they do have some common elements. They should learn to appreciate those differences and embrace them in other people. The 7th grade geography class will be doing a research poster on a country. They are going to apply all that they have learned from the 5 themes of Geography and use it to tell me about various aspects of the country (population, import/export...etc.). The rest of the kids will be working on various tasks, but those are the three big ones! Happy Wednesday Hanson!
This week is super short...so here are a few reminders: Sports Photos are TOMORROW! VB @ Parkston @ 7 (V) FB @ USF on Friday at 10 am No School Friday and Monday! Have a wonderful 4 Day Weekend!! |
